Friends, I love my friends!  There are my coffee drinking friends, my HealthPark friends, my retired friends, and my card playing friends. In The Girls of Mischief Bay by Susan Mallery, three women with little in common develop a friendship while taking a yoga class.  In her thirties, Nicole is owner of a Pilates studio, married to Eric and mother to 5 year old Tyler.  Shannon is career minded, almost forty and maybe ready to settle down. Fifty year old Pam has raised her children and enjoys her life with her husband John and their dog Lulu. These three women become friends and are there for each other as their lives change through different events. Through laughter and tears we are with them as they experience love, loss, change and growth. The story line is a little predictable, but a few surprise turns keeps the book interesting and makes it a good read. If you enjoy this book, look for others in this new series by Susan Mallery.
